Henry F. Coyne, Esquire of Camp Hill died at his home on April 25, 2019. Henry was born in Shamokin, Coal Township, Northumberland County, PA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, the late, Eileen B. (Bach) Coyne and his brother, Rev. Joseph C. Coyne. Henry is survived by his four children; Henry F. Coyne, III, Lisa Marie Coyne, Constance Sajer and Colleen C. Sweeney. Henry had a distinguished career as an attorney, military officer, and active civic leader. The Cumberland County Bar Association Memorial Service for Attorney Coyne was held on May 24, 2019 at the Old Cumberland County Courthouse.

The Hon. Jonathan R. Birbeck was installed as President of the Cumberland County Bar Association for the year 2019 at the Cumberland County Bar Association's Annual Meeting held January 31, 2019.
At the 2019 Cumberland County Bar Association's Annual Meeting held January 31, 2019 Timothy J. Colgan received the 2019 George E. Hoffer Service to Youth Award in recognition of his dedication to encouraging youth to be active, responsible and positive participants in their school, work, community and family.
At the 2019 CCBA Annual Meeting held January 31, 2019 The Hon. Jessica E. Brewbaker , was presented the CCBA Stuart Award. The Stuart Award was named in memory of George and Henry Stuart. The membership and Board of Directors of the Cumberland County Bar Association bestow this Award to a member of the CCBA who has given time, energy, talent to efforts aimed at developing or securing educational, cultural, and social resources in the community at large.
The Adopt-a-Family program allows local attorneys the opportunity to give back to the Cumberland County community by giving holiday gifts and some good cheer to the less fortunate among us. Gifts were delivered on December 19 to Safe Harbour and the Domestic Violence Shelter. See picture flyer attached.
The 12th Biennial Bench Bar Conference was held on Friday, November 2, 2018, at the Penn State Dickinson School of Law, Carlisle Campus. The third Bench-Bar Service Award was presented to Becky H. Morgenthal, Executive Director of the Cumberland County Bar Association. This award is presented by the Cumberland County Bar Association to a member upon nomination, who has provided outstanding service to the legal profession; who brings credit to the manner in which justice is administered by effective contribution to the fostering of strong bench-bar relations. Congratulations to Becky Morgenthal.
